【摘要】:Aswithconventionalradiography,radioscopicexaminationisbroadlyapplicabletoanymaterialorexaminationobjectthroughwhichabeamofpenetratingradiationmaybepassedanddetectedincludingmetals,plastics,ceramics,composites,andothernonmetallicmaterials.Inadditiontothebenefitsnormallyassociatedwithradiography,radioscopicexaminationmaybeeitheradynamic,filmlesstechniqueallowingtheexaminationparttobemanipulatedandimagingparametersoptimizedwhiletheobjectisundergoingexamination,orastatic,filmlesstechniquewhereintheexaminationpartisstationarywithrespecttotheX-raybeam.Thedifferentiationtosystemswithdigitaldetectorarrays(DDAs)istheuseofananalogcomponentsuchasanelectro-opticdeviceorananalogcamera.Recenttechnologyadvancesintheareaofprojectionimaging,cameratechniques,anddigitalimageprocessingprovideacceptablesensitivityforawiderangeofapplications.Ifnormalvideoratesarenotadequatetodetectfeaturesofinterestthenaveragingtechniqueswithnomovementofthetestobjectshallbeused.1.1Thispracticeprovidesapplicationdetailsforradioscopicexaminationusingpenetratingradiation.Thisincludesdynamicradioscopyandforthepurposesofthispractice,radioscopywherethereisnomotionoftheobjectduringexposure(referredtoasstaticradioscopicimaging)bothusingananalogcomponentsuchasanelectro-opticdeviceoranalogcamera.Sincethetechniquesinvolvedandtheapplicationsforradioscopicexaminationarediverse,thispracticeisnotintendedtobelimitingorrestrictive,butrathertoaddressthegeneralapplicationsofthetechnologyandtherebyfacilitateitsuse.RefertoGuidesE94andE1000,TerminologyE1316,PracticeE747,PracticeE1025,TestMethodE2597,andFed.Std.Nos.21CFR1020.40and29CFR1910.96foralistofdocumentsthatprovideadditionalinformationandguidance.1.2Thegeneralprinciplesdiscussedinthispracticeapplybroadlytopenetratingradiationradioscopicsystems.However,thisdocumentiswrittenspecificallyforusewithX-rayandgamma-raysystems.Otherradioscopicsystems,suchasthoseemployingneutrons,willinvolveequipmentandapplicationdetailsuniquetosuchsystems.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetystatements,seeSection8andFed.Std.Nos.21CFR1020.40and29CFR1910.96.A1.1.1Purpose8212;ThisannexistobeusedinconjunctionwithPracticesE1255andE1742.Itpermitstheuseofandgivesguidanceontheimplementationofradioscopicexaminationformaterials,components,andassemblies,whenspecifiedinthecontractdocuments.Theradioscopicrequirementsdescribedhereinallowtheuseofradioscopyfornewapplicationsaswellastoreplaceradiographywhenexaminationcoverage,greaterthroughput,orimprovedexaminationeconomicscanbeobtained,providedasatisfactorylevelofimagequalitycanbedemonstrated.A1.1.2Application8212;Thisannexprovidesguidelinesforawrittenpracticeasrequiredin3.2and5.2.1ofPracticeE1255.ShouldtherequirementsinthisannexconflictwithanyotherrequirementsofPracticeE1255,thenAnnexA1takesprecedence.Therequirementsofthisannexareintendedtocontrolthequal......
