【摘要】:Thistechnicalreportspecifiesthegeneralrequirementsfortheprotectionofelectrostaticdischargesensitivedevices(ESDS)fromelectrostaticdischargesandfields.Itappliesonlytothemanufactureanduseofelectronicdevices.Thistechnicalreportspecifieshowtodesign,useandcontrolaprotectedareatoensurethatelectrostaticsensitivedevices,havingawithstandthresholdvoltageof100V(humanbodymodel)orhigher,canbehandledwithaminimumriskofdamageresultingfromelectrostaticphenomena.NormalprecautionsgiveninthisreportareapplicableforareaswithcleanroomtypesinexcessofISO14644-1class5.AlternativeprecautionsmayberequiredincleanroomsofISO14644-1class5orlessifcontaminationisformedasaresultofusingtheproceduresspecifiedinthistechnicalreport.Althoughthistechnicalreportdoesnotincluderequirementsforpersonnelsafety,attentionisdrawntotheneedforallconcernedtocomplywithrelevantlocalstatutoryrequirementsregardingthehealthandsafetyofallpersonsinallplacesofwork,includingthosecoveredbythistechnicalreport.Generally,thereisnominimumvalueofresistancefortheprotectionofESDS(see3.2).However,aminimumresistancevaluemayberequiredforthesafetyofpersonnel.Seetherelevantrequirementsand/orpublicationsIEC61010-1,IEC60479,IEC60536,IEC60364.
