【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofa3,81mmwidemagnetictapecartridgetoenableinterchangeabilityofsuchcartridges.Italsospecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,therecordedformatandtherecordingmethod,therebyallowingdatainterchangebetweendrivesbymeansofsuchmagnetictapecartridges.TheformatusedisknownasDATA/DAT-DC.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestwotypesofcartridgeswhich,forthepurposeofthisInternationalStandard,arereferredtoasTypeAandTypeB.ForTypeA,themagnetictapehasanominalthicknessof13pmandanominallengthofupto605m.ForTypeB,themagnetictapehasanominalthicknessof9pmalengthofupto92.0m.InformationinterchangebetweensystemsbymeansofthisInternationalStandardalsorequirestheuse,ataminimum,ofalabellingandfilestructureandaninterchangecodewhichareagreeduponbytheinterchangeparties.ItisnotwithinthescopeofthisInternationalStandardtospecifythelabellingandfilestructure,ortheinterchangecode.
