【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandarddescribestheprinciplesgoverningthedesignandapplicationofvisualcomponentsusedtocreateasafetywayguidancesystem(SWGS).ThisInternationalStandardcontainsgeneralprinciplesvalidbothforelectricallypoweredandforphosphorescentcomponents.Specialinformationwhichisrelatedtothetypeofcomponentisgiventoassistindefiningtheenvironmentofuse,choiceofmaterial,layout,installationandmaintenanceofSWGS.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotcoverriskassessment.ApplicationswithdifferentriskstotheoccupantstypicallyrequiredifferentlayoutsandtypesofSWGS.ThespecificapplicationandexactfinaldesignofSWGSisentrustedtothosepersonsresponsibleforthistask.ThisInternationalStandardalsodoesnotincludethespecialconsiderationsofpossibletactileoraudiblecomponentsofSWGS,nordoesitincluderequirementsconcerningtheemergencyescaperoutelighting,especiallythedesignandapplicationofemergencyescaperoutelighting,unlessilluminationisusedtomarksafetyequipmentorspecialfeaturesoftheescaperouteliketheemergencyexitdoorsorstairs.ThisInternationalStandardisintended,bycollaborationandcoordination,tobeusedbyallotherTechnicalCommitteeswithinISOandIECchargedwithdevelopingSWGSfortheirspecificrequirements.ThisInternationalStandardisnottobeusedforshipsfallingunderregulationsoftheInternationalMaritimeOrganization(IMO).
